  1. Hi Stacy, thanks for this video. Since my teachers have the power of if their classes grow or not I have tried everything (I think) to empower and motivate them. Some really do, but more do not. I can’t do anymore to try to sell their classes!
    I do weekly faculty updates, trying to get them to engage with me and keep them updated. Only 2 (out of 13) ever respond even just letting me knew they have received it. I met with them all to find out how things were going, but I did not ask them questions like you are suggesting. I would love to hear your suggestions for dance teachers who are not employees, but are self employed contractors. Thanks! Jane

    1. Hi Jane! Thanks for your comment. I used this with all the employees in my business and structured it to what their job entailed. For instance, I thought of everything the receptionist/desk staff do and had them rate what they most liked and least liked. What I found was someone who rated something a 1 (least liked), I had another who loved that job. So this could be used for any type of employee. Hope that helps!

    I am excited to have finally made the decision to learn, dream, and grow again within our business and family life! My husband, Dan, and I spent the last 3-4 years debating whether or not we should keep our dance studio business. We knew we needed a coach, direction, and someone to help us navigate our way through the challenges of dance studio ownership, but through having 3 baby boys over the past 8 years life just got “busy”! We were unorganized, becoming worn out with me at work every evening, and just not sure this was the road we bargained for with our business. Despite the challenges, I still had a deep love for dance, and a passion for my studio! We are thrilled to have made the decision to join on with Misty & MTJGD, and now your leadership in the Get Focused Academy!
