Are you struggling to get visible and leverage social media for your business?

What would you say if I told you that at the time you are reading this (the day it is published at least), I am hosting 8 amazing women at my home for a retreat?! It’s true! As great as blogs like this are and podcasts, Facebook lives, etc… there is nothing quite like meeting together in person.

Now, the reason I know that is because I, too, am a member of a mastermind and we meet in person every quarter. We only have 16 members so the group is still very intimate and involved. I have been to two of our quarterly meet-ups so far and I can tell you the level of connections that are made at these retreats are unlike any other relationships I have made online. I know due to convenience and the power of technology we can easily get caught up with relationships based on digital meet-ups that we neglect the in-person meet-ups because we consider it an inconvenience. Whether it be booking the flights, finding a house/pet/baby sitter, etc.! It can sometimes seem like to much of a sacrifice to prioritize this, but I am here to share it is well worth the sacrifice. I know when I attended my last mastermind meet-up in New York, I saw for myself that the relationships are fast-tracked. Meaning, a deeper friendship happens in a very limited amount of time. The fact that we are all very like-minded entrepreneurs is also a key component, which is why when you choose to attend a retreat, you want to make sure you are choosing one that has like-minded people in it.

So for our retreat here this week in Milwaukee, we have a group of high-level female entrepreneurs coming together. I can guarantee you within minutes, deep connections are made because they already have so much in common (with their own unique spin of course). These life-long friendships will also bring momentum, collaboration and so much more to the table in their business. I will make sure to share some of their experiences when I follow up with them post-retreat, but in the meantime, I want to encourage you to begin to research some retreat options for yourself. Remember, the key is finding like-minded people and a small group of people.

( Don’t forget, we will have another Profit Mastermind group starting this fall, which will have a retreat option too!
